ABOUT US
The Larson family has deep roots in the cattle industry. Brady grew up in Sharon Springs showing cattle and other livestock in 4-H. He attended Fort Hays State University. Brady began A.I.ing (artificial insemination) and was hired as an independent representative with ABS Global while still in college. He had an internship with RABrown Ranch in Throckmorton, TX and graduated from Fort Hays with a Beef Production degree.
Kyla grew up showing Charolais cattle with her siblings in Satanta, KS. She also competed in livestock judging and meats judging in high school and while at college at Kansas State University. She was an active member of the Kansas Junior Charolais Association and the American International Junior Charolais Association, serving on the junior board.
This experience, coupled with a passion for the breed, inspired the creation of Larson Ranch. Larson Ranch, established in 2014, focuses on producing high-quality Angus and Charolais bulls. In 2020 Brady and Kyla had the rare and blessed opportunity to purchase the neighboring Woodbury Ranch in Wichita County, Kansas.
With aspirations of selling Charolais Bulls alongside their Angus Bulls, they chose a ranch name with a similar logo to maintain brand familiarity. In 2022, they started the process of building a facility to host the production sale, manage the cows, and frankly, the kids. With a herd of approximately 350 registered Angus cattle and 130 head of registered Charolais cattle, the ranch is committed to breeding cattle that excel in a production setting and are phenotypic stand-outs. Ultimately, we strive to provide exceptional quality cattle with the integrity you've come to expect.
